Jos C.G.A Verbeek is a senior consultant, trainer and assessor and works for several accreditation bodies such as the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA), Belgian Accreditation Service (BELAC), Cypriot Accreditation Body (CYSAB), the Maltese Accreditation Service (NAB-MALTA), Norwegian Accreditation Board (NA) and the Irish Accreditation Board (INAB). He also worked from 1990 to 2018 for VSL, the Dutch Metrology Institute (Delft) as Quality Manager, Consultant and Metrologist. Until 2025, Jos was employed as manager of the calibration laboratory at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute.
